摘要: Summary Background Cutaneous nontuberculous mycobacterial infections result from external inoculation, spread of a deeper infection, or haematogenous disseminated infection. There are two species-specific (fish-tank swimming-pool granuloma, due to Mycobacterium marinum, and Buruli ulcer, caused by M. ulcerans). Most infections, however, produce nonspecific clinical picture. Objectives To define patterns cutaneous disease in infections. Methods Fifty-one patients with were reviewed. Clinical histopathological features normal hosts immunosuppressed compared. Two subgroups distinguished: infection involvement. Results In the number lesions was significantly higher. Abscesses ulceration also more frequently observed. Different species found patients. Several defined: lymphocutaneous sporotrichoid lesions; nonlymphocutaneous at site trauma; folliculitis furunculosis involving lower extremities; on extremities observed infection: localized mucosal lesions. Conclusions manifestations may be classified according criteria such as immune status.
