摘要: The fractions of different polarity, namely chloroform, ethylacetate, n-butanol, and remaining water fractions, were fractionated from an aqueous extract V. vinifera leaves. antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antioxidant activities, total phenolic content these investigated. chloroform fraction showed a promising effect against Herpes simplex virus type-1 (HSV-1) Parainfluenza viruses (PIV). results indicated that all the more pronounced gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus E. faecalis) than gram-negative (E. coli P. aeruginosa). On other hand, equal antifungal activity genus Candida (C. albicans C. parapsilosis). Additionally, antioxidative potential was evaluated using various measurements, i.e. 2,2-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging, metal chelating, superoxide scavenging effects. ethylacetate possessed highest activities except in case iron chelation. best performance chelation assay. In our study, analysis relationship between their positive correlation coefficient. However, such not found for antimicrobial antiviral properties. conclusion, data presented study demonstrated CHCl3 Fr. produced significant PIV HSV-1. supported utilization leaves folk medicine.
