‘Made in the trade’: youth attitudes toward apprenticeship certification

摘要: This paper explores the value youth place on apprenticeship training and credentials. Our analysis of interview survey data from former high school apprentices in two trades suggests that there are several influences their attitudes toward completion training. These include how they see themselves as learners workers a result experiences at families, possibilities for theoretically applied learning through integrated classroom on-the-job findings help to explain different trajectories taken by have broader implications thinking about model.
