摘要: Electrospun fibrous matrices prepared from methacrylate-based copolymers are investigated as a tool for retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) transplantation in the treatment of degenerative diseases. Human RPE cells were used to probe cell–surface interactions on these copolymer matrices. For first time, simple changes chemical functionality have been found induce gel formation methacrylate backbone vitro. This effect is shown significantly improve cell adhesion and survival.
