Factors Influencing Adolescents' Responses to Regimens of Naproxen for Dysmenorrhea

摘要: • The efficacy of different regimens naproxen sodium for relief dysmenorrhea in female adolescents was compared and the effect other social/psychologic factors on response to treatment tested. Following pretesting, 45 were randomly assigned a double-blind fashion one five followed up after 1, 2, 3 months treatment. There dose-related therapy, with subjects receiving loading doses 550 mg reporting better symptom than 275 mg. During first month treatment, who reported increased life crisis events experienced greater severity following therapy. Also, more severe symptoms three therapy had significantly lower self-concepts less ( AJDC 1985;139:489-493)
