摘要: Pulsed molybdenum ion beams extracted from a metal vapour vacuum arc source at voltage of 25 kV or 48 were implanted into H13 steel with high implantation dose 5×1017 ionscm-2 and time-averaged beam current density about 300 µAcm-2. We have investigated the for wear resistance by an optical interference microscope pin-on-disc apparatus. The Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy demonstrated that rather low-energy ions could penetrate quite deep substrates. It was observed x-ray photoelectron transmission-electron microscopy carbide appeared in doped region. results showed dramatically improved after attributed to development Mo2C precipitates zone formation affected below zone.
