Coronary aneurysms in a patient with atypical Kawasaki syndrome and a streptococcal infection

摘要: We report a patient who presented with prolonged febrile illness and evidence of an acute streptococcal infection. The development thrombocytosis led to the suspicion Kawasaki syndrome despite fact he did not fulfill usual clinical criteria. A two-dimensional echocardiogram demonstrated bilateral coronary artery aneurysms.
