摘要: Antibodies against placental alkaline phosphatase (PAP) share antigenic determinants with the intestinal isoenzyme (IAP) and vice versa. Both isoenzymes can be found as part of total activity (AP) in serum. Using antibody-coated polystyrene tubes, a simple sensitive immunoassay was developed which allows quantitative determination IAP or PAP without interference cross-reacting isoenzyme. The presence amount depends on ABO blood group. secretory status oral fat intake. serum healthy fasted individuals up to 8 U/I secretors group O B below 1 non-secretors A donors. In screening tests various pathological sera, elevated 100 idiopathic hyper-AP-aemia some liver cirrhosis patients.
