Recent Progress in Research on CsI Thin Film Photocathodes

摘要: Caesium iodide (CsI) thin films have attracted much attention due to good electron transport and emission properties in the soft X-ray extreme ultraviolet range. With rapid development of nuclear physics, high energy physics astrophysics, requirements for CsI film photocathodes become increasingly severe, it is therefore considerable interest develop with quantum efficiency (QE) stable performance. However, internal mechanisms QE variation photocathode aging are not entirely clear or certain up date. In this paper, recent progress on reviewed some controversial issues introduced. Several perspectives also proposed end.
