Participation rates in worksite-based intervention studies: health promotion context as a crucial quality criterion.

摘要: Recently, a set of specific quality evaluation criteria for health promotion research has been proposed in this journal. One the identified is 'health context'. With paper we would like to contribute dialogue by specifying importance criterion on basis our experience with worksite-based obesity prevention interventions. We advocate reporting participation rates among approached worksites publications worksite intervention effects. Such information will help draw conclusions practical relevance shown effectiveness intervention. Health practice advised adopt and disseminate evidence-based interventions, accompanied diffusion study minimal burden participants.
