摘要: Work is under way in the UGIX project to define a layer based model of user interaction with GIS. The key command language which can be assembled into procedures reflecting certain tasks required highest level is: graphical interface (GUI) customized satisfy specific functional requirements. This accessed by distinct types users at appropriate i.e., inexperienced, infrequent and/or job-limited GUI level; spatially aware professional (analyst/engineer) procedure/GUI system customizer and database administrator procedure developer or application program (API) level. paper reviews layered structure then looks more closely two layers - particular specification for extended version SQL functionally equivalent iconic query language.
