摘要: Although proliferation of small ductular-like cells, designated oval is often observed during the early stages chemically induced hepatocarcinogenesis, their role carcinogenic process remains controversial. To investigate possibility that cells may give rise to preneoplastic lesions ultimately progress hepatocellular carcinomas, we have carried out phenotypic analysis with a panel monoclonal antibodies determine if there an antigenic relationship between and hepatic foci, nodules, tumors by resistant hepatocyte model system. In this model, rats are given single dose (200 mg/kg) diethylnitrosamine, followed brief exposure 2-acetylaminofluorene partial hepatectomy. We found approximately 10% focal 28 days after diethylnitrosamine expressed either one or both cell antigens OC.2 OV-6. By weeks 16 nodules heterogeneously OV-6 whereas 5-10% persistent contained scattered hepatocyte-like OC.2. Examination hepatocyte-induced primary carcinomas expanded demonstrated most comprising 29 15-20% OV-6-positive subpopulations also expressing 3 additional antigens, OC.2, OC.3, OV-1. All examined normal levels H.1 HBD.1, had dramatically reduced H.2, H.4, CAM 105 but showed elevated transferrin receptor, gamma-glutamyltranspeptidase, antigen, H.5. conclusion, our findings demonstrate subpopulation in suggesting at least some be derived from
