摘要: PURPOSE OF REVIEW: The present paper reviews some of the most significant findings in field forensic issues related to intellectual disability over last 2 years. RECENT FINDINGS: Recent publications have explored prevalence and assessment disabilities criminal justice system, as well individual characteristics disabled offenders. Service by system treatment offenders also been explored. New insights into violence sexual offences achieved, however identification evidence-based are not widely issues. SUMMARY: Progress studies, studies function risk assessments resulted improvements these aspects during recent wide range services involved successful initiatives has addressed, but crucial still receive too little attention. Differences between countries cultures emphasized, progress that achieved seems be confined with a clear policy organized for disabilities.
