摘要: Summary Continuous hydrolysis of sucrose solutions by yeast invertase has been studied in a continuous stirred tank reactor (C.S.T.R.) limited an ultrafiltration membrane capable selectively retaining the enzyme. o 1. Initially, studies were made kinetics batch and stability, under conditions applicable to process, particular at high concentrations. 2. Ultrafiltration showed that various membranes retain remain permeable hydrolysed sucrose. The flux products was found be maximum when concentration solution close 50 p. cent. 3. Studies without enzyme retention steady state ratio may predicted from enzymatic reaction substrate material balance C.S.T.R. 4. with through reutilisation for 5 days, 50°C, does not lead any detectable loss activity. Under adopted, remained constant, 90
