摘要: Objective. We aimed at investigating the impact of lifetime manic spectrum symptoms on severity pain and health-related quality life (HRQoL) in patients with fibromyalgia (FM). Methods. One hundred sixty-seven FM, assessed according to ACR criteria, were consecutively enrolled. Psychiatric diagnoses carried out following Diagnostic Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR). The HRQoL FM was measured by means Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ) Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36 Health Survey (MOS SF-36); mood symptomatology Mood Spectrum-Self Report (MOODS-SR). Results. A high rate detected resulted as related Pain Visual Analogic Scale (“pain VAS”) FIQ total scores well “bodily pain”, physical mental component summary MOS SF-36, both whole sample (n=167) without bipolar disorder (n=160). Conclusion. Our results highlight need pay more attention features patients, because their relationship a worse HRQoL.
