摘要: A novel ceramsite coated with micro-cuprous oxide (Cu2O) catalyst was prepared and its photocatalytic activity investigated by determining the degradation of methylene blue (MB) in aqueous solutions under Xe light. The results showed that had many outstanding characteristics, such as higher BET specific surface area, larger pore size stronger visible-light adsorption capacity, suggesting it is a promising material. Under experimental conditions initial concentration 15 mg/L, pH 3 photocatalyst dosage 0.5 g, rate MB reached 93.31% after light irradiated for 75min. followed pseudo-first-order kinetics model, high correlation coefficient values (R2>0.95). Some major intermediates desired products were identified GC-MS IC, respectively. Finally, pathways proposed.
