摘要: It was previously reported that an antitumor polysaccharide (PGPW1) isolated from the root of Panax ginseng. To extend our study, we investigated here anti-invasive and metastatic effects PGPW1 on human gastric cancer cell line HGC-27 tried to determine its possible mechanism action. Both scratch wound-healing Transwell assay identified dose-dependently inhibited migration invasiveness cells. Furthermore, results western blot showed protein levels Twist AKR1C2 were by PGPW1, whereas increase NF1 observed. Moreover, down-regulation expression blocked epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), characterized a gain epithelial markers, E-cadherin, loss mesenchymal vimentin N-cadherin, at levels. Collectively, confirmed decreased invasion cells regulation Twist, AKR1C2, NF1, N-cadherin expression. In conclusion, may serve as powerful chemopreventive agent against metastasis.
