摘要: The scattering of low energy X-rays by atoms is dominated coherent (Rayleigh) and incoherent (many times known as “atomic Compton”) scattering. As electron synchrotron storage rings become more widely used sources intense, polarized X-rays, it important to be able properly calculate the cross sections since polarization can utilized reduce X-ray This paper reviews methods calculating Rayleigh atomic Compton presents analytical integrations over solid angles circular detectors from point into 90°. Special attention paid effects has on background spectra collected with dispersive detectors. It shown that ratio fluorescence does not approach zero for small values rR (r = detector radius, R distance detector).
