摘要: Triglyceride oils such as linseed, oitica, tall, castor, and tung have long been used in varnishes, alkyds other coating formulations. These days, new polymers based on represent an alternative approach to reducing the dependence petrochemical derivatives (1–7). can be polymerized form interpenetrating polymer networks, IPN’s. An IPN may defined a combination of two network form, at least one which is and/or cross-linked immediate presence (3). The IPN’s present study are simultaneous SIN’s. This involves mixing monomers or prepolymers early stage their reaction, followed by formation both networks. reactions proceed simultaneously, through independent mechanisms, i.e. step growth chain growth. Recently, experimental from potential oil seed crops were investigated. In particular, naturally epoxidized vernonia oil, well chemically crambe, lunaria, lesquerella (2,4–6). Vernonia comes wild plant native Kenya, Africa. synthesis characterization SIN’s formed first paper this series (5).
