摘要: This study analysed the changes in electromyographic (EMG) activity of vastus lateralis, biceps femoris and gastrocnemius muscles during incremental treadmill running. The EMG were related to lactate ventilatory thresholds. Ten trained subjects participated study. Minute ventilation, oxygen consumption, carbon dioxide expired fraction gas recorded continuously. Venous blood samples collected at each exercise intensity for concentration. end using surface electrodes. quantified through integration (iEMG) by calculating mean power frequency (MPF). iEMG measurements characterized a breakpoint lateralis and/or eight tested. However, results indicated that concentrations had already begun increase nonlinear fashion before been surpassed. Consequently, occurence threshold cannot be attributed solely change motor unit recruitment or rate coding patterns demonstrated breakpoint. was shown far more reliable convenient noninvasive predictor comparison with techniques. In conclusion, used this (i.e. MPF) not considered viable determinants aerobic-anaerobic transition phase
