摘要: Changes in the incidence of testicular cancer Victoria, Australia were studied from 1950 to 1985. Cases period 1978 derived many sources (1116 cases). Emphasis was placed on diagnostic reliability; 97% cases confirmed histologically, and these, 86% reviewed at Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute. For years 1982 1985, Victorian Registry data used. The rose by a factor 2.9 1.44 (95% confidence interval [CI], 1.15 1.73) per 100,000 1954 4.16 CI, 3.73 4.59) Between 1965 1969, there sharp rise, followed plateau or dip, then further rise. Among seminomas, rates most adult age groups, whereas among nonseminomas, rise concentrated younger groups. There significant trend earlier occurrence nonseminomas (P = 0.0004) but not seminomas 0.89). Cohort analysis revealed toward increasing for both onset nonseminomas.
