Pseudoelasticity and elastocaloric effect of Fe 75.5 Ga 24.5 single crystal

摘要: -, - and -oriented single crystals of Fe75.5Ga24.5 alloy were prepared by optical float zone melting method. The pseudoelasticity behavior elastocaloric effect the investigated, as well associate microstructures. D03 phase structure was realized solution treatment at 800 °C annealed 600 °C for 10 h. compressive deformation exhibits significant dependence on crystalline directions. Excellent with recoverable strain up to 5% is obtained compression along direction. disappears after five cycles. Adiabatic temperature change simultaneously detected during pseudoelasticity, especially loading process.
