摘要: Abstract It has been suggested that some mutations in codons 12 and 13 of the K-ras gene are associated with progression colorectal adenomas to carcinomas. The aim this study was develop a rapid, colorimetric assay for point commonly cancer. exon 1 amplified from tumor DNA activating detected using an oligonucleotide ligation (OLA) combination immunological detection. Using OLA oligonucleotides specific individual mutations, 6 (of 17 total adenomas/carcinomas) were found have mutations. could detect as little 10% mutant allele. A simplified designed test either presence (+) or absence (−) any developed. further streamlined by use dipstick methodology development. If required, sensitivity can be increased recently described EDNA–ELCA detection system. (+/−) mutation system provides sensitive suitable part clinical assessment
