Quality and safety in the palestinian construction industry

摘要: Construction industry is one of the largest and most important industries in Palestine. Quality safety still suffers from ignorance lack supervision accident rate on construction projects very high. The objective this paper to identify quality factors that relate safety, determine their relative importance as perceived by contractors help reduction accidents. A survey was conducted using a 55 item questionnaire which grouped into 15 major categories. Analysis responses found included: "safety organization formed with community culture considers vital need for people", "all managers are required go through proper management training", engineers needed relevant "lack orientation training new workers decreases increases risks them", such way top exercise positive behavior towards safety". results group categorized among
