Integrated management systems: a single management system solution for project control?

摘要: Over the last 25 years, construction industry has embraced quality management systems (QMS). More recently, environmental issues and health safety legislation have introduced additional dedicated control procedures: (EMS) (H&SMS). Systems, in particular those used for management, been widely accused of being bureaucratic, arduous, paper driven questionable value to management. The genuine need is improved that enable a contracting organization key functions quality, environment with maximum effectiveness minimum bureaucracy. findings presented this show forward‐looking approach can bring together these individual within an integrated system (IMS). This allows move away from traditional vertical separate towards single cross‐functional horizontal benefit both corporate project organizations. idea IMS only recently emerged UK industry. A small number organizations are, therefore, at forefront national international developments.
