摘要: Spheroidal graphite cast iron was laser cladded with TiC powder using a YAG fiber at powers of 700, 1000, 1500 and 2000 W. The preplaced on the surface specimens 0.5 mm thickness. Sound cladding fusion zones were observed 1000 W powers. However, W, cracking in zone. At 700 build-up zone consisted fine dendrites inside matrix composed martensite, cementite (Fe3C), some blocks retained austenite observed. In this zone, all nodules totally melted. undissolved partially dissolved appeared containing bainite, ferrite, martensite austenite. had more carbides HAZ martensitic structure. particles precipitated eutectic carbides, plus an inter-lamellar austenite. hardness area remarkably improved (1330 HV case W: 5.5 times substrate).
