摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect acute uremia on changes in leucine and protein metabolism whole body hepatic tissue. Acute renal insufficiency induced by bilateral nephrectomy (BNX). Twenty-four hours later, parameters amino acid were evaluated using primed constant intravenous infusion L-[1-14C]leucine, isolated perfused liver (IPL) cx-keto[1-14C]isocaproate. control group consisted sham-operated rats. BNX a marked decrease proteolysis, synthesis, oxidized fraction clearance. synthesis higher than proteolysis. A significant drop observed muscle, gut, heart spleen. with IPL animals showed decreased oxidation ketoisocaproic concentrations branched-chain acids (BCAA) leucine, isoleucine valine perfusion solution. We conclude that cause rapid depletion proteins after is greater proteolysis associated an increase fraction. data obtained model indicate causes metabolic enable resynthesis BCAA from corresponding keto liver.
