摘要: Here we report the first finding of Cryptonemia rotunda and Schizymenia apoda in Korea based on plastid rbcL sequence analysis morphological observations. C. occurred subtidal Hongdo Namyeodo south coast. Thalli have short stipe with foliose, membranous blades dentate margin, a length 2-8 cm. S. many locations along coast Korea. are simple or broadly lanceolate irregular lobes proliferations from margins, sometimes undulate, soft fleshy, slippery, up to 32 cm tall, cystocarps ostioles blade. Plastid sequences reveal that each these species is clearly separated other their respective genera. was well resolved within genus. However, distantly related members genus, this result needs an urgent revision
