摘要: The persistence of an active subventricular zone neural stem cell niche in the adult mammalian forebrain supports its continued role production new neurons and generating cells to function repair through adulthood. Unfortunately, with increasing age begins deteriorate, compromising these functions. reasons for this decline are not clear. Studies beginning define molecular physiologic changes microenvironment aging niche. New revelations from studies will allow a more thorough understanding which reparative functions lost aged brain, progression demise possibility therauptic intervention improve brain function.
