摘要: This study evaluated the predictive power of spermatid count and cytology for assisted reproduction outcome after FSH therapy. A total 174 men with severe oligozoospermia normal plasma concentration underwent semen analysis including count, TUNEL test, FISH sperm aneuploidies testicular fine-needle aspiration cytology. Ninety-two hypospermatogenesis received therapy 3 months 82 patients maturative disturbance or partial obstruction served as controls. Semen was analysed at baseline, 3- 9-month follow up, pregnancies were recorded. Subjects not reaching pregnancy 3-month up recommended treatment. Spermatid related to cytology: concentrations 0.3 × 10(6)/ml obstruction, disturbance. showed increases in number motility (both P < 0.001), allowing some couples undergo intrauterine insemination instead IVF. Cumulative rate 12 higher (44.6%) than without (22.0%; = 0.002). improved sometimes allowed less invasive treatment well-selected patients. could represent a new parameter predict response One-hundred seventy-four reduction sex hormones levels fine needle cytologiy (FNAC). infertile reduced production (hypospermatogenesis) treated highly purified urofollitropin defects seminal tract After following 9 all subjects performed who had reached spontaneous suggested reproductive techniques (ARTs). strongly respectively.
