摘要: Respiration in mitochondria and photosynthesis chloroplasts varied with the osmotic stretch of membrane such that these processes were uniformly inhibited at higher osmolalities. A systematic evaluation segmental electron transport intact particles showed no individual complex exhibited sensitivity, whereas sensitivity appeared wherever assay involved crossing over corresponding quinone chain. The evidence was consistent rate-limiting step being availability voids for migration rather than any components chain per se. Evidence based on reconstitution depleted by acetone treatment clearly distinguished kinetic control hypotonic domain diffusive via hypertonic domain. Influence as well presence further confirmed quinone-depleted reconstituted cholesterol. Decrease lateral diffusion fluorescent probe, 12-(9-anthroyl)stearic acid, compression bilayer is a change void size distribution bilayer. direct correlation between succinate cytochrome c oxidoreductase activity diffusivity probe acid transport.
