摘要: We have investigated the genetic and epigenetic changes of a newly isolated tumor suppressor gene on 3p21.3, RASSF1A, in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Four xenografts, four cell lines 21 primary tumors were examined. Promoter hypermethylation 5'CpG island RASSF1A was detected 4 (100%) 3 (75%) lines, 14 (66.7%) but not normal epithelia. Mutations found 2 (9.5%) tumors. In xenografts with extensive methylation, no expression found. After treatment 5'-aza-2'deoxycytidine, reexpression demethylation NPC line.
