摘要: A commercially available point measurement device, the Mexameter(®), and an experimental RGB imaging prototype device were used for erythema index estimation of 50 rosacea patients by analysing level skin redness on forehead, both cheeks sides a nose. Results are compared with Clinician's Erythema Assessment (CEA) values given two dermatologists. The Mexameter uses 568 nm 660 nm LEDs photodetector index, while acquired images at 460 nm, 530 nm 665 nm LED illumination. Several algorithms to determine which one gives best contrast between increased normal skin. estimations CEA correlated much better data than those obtained conventional technique that is widely dermatologists in clinical trials. In result, we propose approach represents higher accuracy other methods.
