摘要: Animals possess a behavioral repertoire, which forms the basis of activity patterns. In present investigation, sequences seven palm civets were observed in captivity during 18:00- 06:00 h. The transitions from one state to another revealed using contingency table representing six states viz., resting, feeding, comfort behavior, social sniffing behavior and locomotion. elucidated first order Markov chain model. hypothesis for model against zero is sustaining probability animal being particular depends on immediately preceding act all other past history immaterial.
