摘要: Abstract Metal matrix composites are composite materials in which nano or micro-sized particles as reinforcement mixed with other base metals. For producing the desired type of metal composites, need to select an appropriate production method. In present work, aluminum and silicon-carbide (Al-SiC) based were prepared by stir casting A total three specimens prepared, i.e., 0, 2.5, 5% weight Silicon-Carbide, respectively, a metal. The wear behavior was analyzed pin on disc machine. Minitab™ software used for design experiments (DoE) ANOVA analysis. Hardness, compression, density analysis also carried out, showing different specimens' actual under conditions. maximum value loss is observed at two conditions: one 0% another type. Minimum rate found specimen 50 N load 500 m sliding distance. Maximum 100 N 1500 m specific 150 N 2500 m distance specimen. As percentage filler material (% silicon-carbide) increases hardness increases. highest BHN 254 increases, compressive strength
