摘要: The problem of reducing the chaotic response a simple mechanical system, previously studied by Shaw and co-workers is reconsidered. motion detected version Melnikov's method which does not require perturbation analysis. original firstly formulated in mathematical satisfactory way successively relaxed order to obtain solution, found using result Ghizzetti. It involves two equal opposite impulses, adequate amplitude acting with precise phase difference; this solution represents external excitation reduces as much possible behaviour system. Some theoretical suggestions are furnished, some numerical results presented verify practical realizability optimal possibility apply present field 'controlling chaos'.
