Optimal control and anti-control of the nonlinear dynamics of a rigid block

摘要: This paper deals with control and anti-control of overturning a rigid block subjected to generic periodic excitation. Attention is focused on two relevant thresholds, corresponding heteroclinic bifurcation immediate overturning, representing lower upper bounds the region where toppling can occur.
