摘要: This paper deals with control and anti-control of overturning a rigid block subjected to generic periodic excitation. Attention is focused on two relevant thresholds, corresponding heteroclinic bifurcation immediate overturning, representing lower upper bounds the region where toppling can occur. The opposite problems increasing (control) or decreasing (anti-control) these curves by properly modifying shape excitation are investigated in depth optimal excitations permitting their maximum variations determined. notions 'global' 'one-side' utilized different importance for various cases discussed. effects one curve uncontrolled (non-anti-controlled) also investigated, both analytically numerical charts.
