摘要: The effect of selective reporting on estimates weaning weight parameters in beef cattle was evaluated by comparing REML from unaltered and altered simulated data. Selective reduced direct (WWD), maternal milk (MAT), error variances. However, heritability were not greatly affected because the reductions variance relatively proportionate. When true value for direct-maternal (DM) correlation zero or negative, caused DM to be less positive more negative 50 62 comparisons, with an average change -.136. positive, increased magnitude 12 20 +.040. In BLUP data a -.09, using -.28 MAT EPD values .065 .041, respectively. These results suggest that reliability parameter (and BLUPs) would improved estimating representative subsets free bias.
