Autoimmune manifestations in human myelodysplasia: a positive correlation with interferon regulatory factor-1 (IRF-1) expression

摘要: Background: Patients with myelodysplasia may have autoimmune manifestations (AIM). Interferon regulatory factor-1 (IRF-1) is a transcription factor involved in interferon signalling, leukaemogenesis, and the development of immune system. Objectives: To determine whether IRF-1 implicated pathophysiology AIM myelodysplasia. Methods: 14 patients were studied, seven without. Five vasculitis normal subjects served as controls. The expression was studied bone marrow mononuclear cells taken from controls, using relative quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. Results: A 10-fold reduction full length mRNA detected without compared In contrast, group had increased transcripts, to level almost equal that observed Conclusions: Myelodysplasia decreased incidence AIM.
