摘要: Obesity is associated with increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in part due to vascular abnormalities such as endothelial dysfunction arterial stiffening. The hypertension other health complications that arise from these defects increase the risk of heart diseases stroke. Prooxidant proinflammatory signaling pathways well adipocyte-derived factors have emerged critical mediators obesity-associated abnormalities. Designing treatments aimed specifically at improving caused by obesity may provide an effective therapeutic approach prevent sequelae excessive adiposity. In this review, we discuss recent evidence supporting role oxidative stress cytokines inflammatory signals within vasculature impact surrounding perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) on regulation function stiffening obesity. particular, focus highly plastic nature response altered oxidant highlight how weight management can be reduce improve function.
