摘要: The provision and enactment of continuous learning has become a defining aspect contemporary work occupational development. This is because, particularly in countries with advanced industrial economies, the requirements for being remaining competent at are constantly changing due to factors such as globalisation, new technologies organisational restructuring. There also trend towards individuals having longer working lives, ageing populations mean mature-age workers stay workforce. As result, continually responding circumstances sustain their employability across extended lives. Much that response comes through training undertaken quite different ways from approaches used entry level preparation employment. Consequently, lifelong continuing education becoming an increasingly important phenomenon these countries, yet require distinct educational provisions. Hence, we need know more about how it can be effectively organised enacted. Within this context, paper discusses findings interviews Australian two industries: transport logistics, health community services, experiences preferences sustaining employability. argues employees' consistently reported those comprising effective means work-related supports sustains workplace changes demands they encounter and, hence, Further, considers some implications arising accounts suggests practices expectations identified establish strong premises developing integrative models suited workplaces times.
