摘要: Abstract This review summarizes recent animal studies performed to determine the possible role played by sex hormones in sex- and site-related differences characterizing adipocyte lipolytic activity. In both normal female rats male hamsters, fat cells from deep intra-abdominal sites elicit higher catecholamine-stimulated responses than subcutaneous adipocytes. By using ovariectomized rats, it was found that estradiol ‘in vivo', while having no effect cells, promotes lipolysis adipocytes increasing their adenylate cyclase catalytic castrated cell activities are equally sensitive testosterone. these testosterone treatment not only β-adrenergic activity Gsα level, but also enhances α2-adrenergic antilipolytic through a transcriptional activation of α2-adrenoceptor expression. These experiments demonstrate some, all, white adrenergic signal transducing system regulating is target for hormones. finding may have potential importance understanding mechanisms underlying sex-related regional specificities adipose tissue metabolism distribution.
