摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the lipid metabolism in adipose tissue and focuses on biochemistry of adipocyte. Adipocytes make up approximately one half cells tissue, remainder being blood endothelial cells, precursor varying degrees differentiation, fibroblasts. In humans, small clusters adipocytes are present that increase size during gestation. At beds, fatty acids liberated from triacylglycerol-rich lipoproteins through action lipoprotein lipase, released bound by albumin donors for acid uptake. Acidification micelles, neutrophils, hepatocytes accompanies uptake, consistent with a diffusion mechanism indicates protein-mediated transfer is not necessary. While obesity may seem surface to simply be excess consumption food compared energy expenditure, it complex metabolic disorder centered cellular signaling systems linked it. However, genomic proteomic technology platforms now support analysis fat under variety hormonal, metabolic, genetic backgrounds.
