摘要: Background: Intracranial hemorrhage is a serious disease associated with high mortality and morbidity, develops suddenly without warning. Although there were known risk factors, it difficult to prevent brain from critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). There are several reports that hemorrhage, patients, occurred connection respiratory diseases. The aim of our study describe baseline characteristics prognosis intracranial during mechanical ventilation ICU. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed medical records 56 who developed ICU, May 2008 December 2011. During implemented weaning process, following ACCP (American College Chest Physicians) criteria. Also, we compared those hemorrhage. Results: Thirty two (57.1%) male, median ages 63 (17-90) years. common type confirmed was intracerebral hemorrhage/intraventricular (52.2%). duration 6 (0-58) days. Overall hospital 57.1%, ICU 44.6%. most cause death (40.6%). In comparison showed less use anticoagulants lower ventilator pressure. Our vasopressor, systolic blood pressure, peak airway platelet count Conclusions: ventilation. future, large case-control will be needed evaluate factors cerebral
