摘要: Reconfigurability and low complexity are the two key requirements of finite impulse response (FIR) filters employed in multistandard wireless communication systems. In this paper, new reconfigurable architectures FIR proposed, namely constant shifts method programmable method. The proposed filter architecture is capable operating for different wordlength coefficients without any overhead hardware circuitry. We show that dynamically can be efficiently implemented by using common subexpression elimination algorithms. have been tested on Virtex 2v3000ff1152-4 field-programmable gate array synthesized 0.18 ?m complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology with a precision 16 bits. Design examples offer good area power reductions speed improvement compared to best existing implementations literature.
