摘要: Germ cell fate in mice is induced pluripotent epiblast cells response to signals from extraembryonic tissues. The specification of approximately 40 founder primordial germ and their segregation somatic neighbours are important events early development. We have proposed that a critical event during this includes repression programme adopted by neighbouring cells. Here we show Blimp1 (also known as Prdm1), transcriptional repressor, has role the foundation mouse lineage, its disruption causes block process formation. Blimp1-deficient mutant embryos form tight cluster about 20 cell-like cells, which fail characteristic migration, proliferation consistent homeobox genes normally accompany Furthermore, our genetic lineage-tracing experiments indicate Blimp1-positive originating proximal posterior indeed lineage-restricted precursors.
