摘要: Technological change is an enormously complex and diverse phenomenon. To deal with it quantitatively, a classification scheme needed that reflects this complexity yet permits separate aspects of technological to be described. In paper, hierarchical approach presented suitable for describing many kinds change. The hierarchy three dimensional connects technologies in time, function each other. virtues are clearly defines the objects study, can limit scale analysis by treating particular members hierarchies progressively extend including more hierarchies. study should then start systems determine structure interest technology or set technologies. Once done, member selected time evolution described terms equations parameters defining hierarchy. determines relation among various systems. For considered as sets devices, procedure leads nested coupled equations. performance capture market share new product known follow logistic type Thus, while overall mathematics change, individual parts mathematical straightforward.
