摘要: We established the cutoff value for plasma folic acid, using homocyst(e)ine as functional marker. To do this, we investigated relationship of acid 103 apparently healthy adults with their fasting and 6 h after oral methionine challenge (100 mg/kg). also studied decline 7 days supplementation (5 mg/day). The three approaches suggested a 10 nmol/L. chances individuals to significantly (P <0.05) lower proved higher at concentrations < or = nmol/L, compared above this (odds ratio, 5.02; 95% confidence interval, 1.87-13.73). suggest adopting nmo/L on grounds.
