摘要: An interventional radiologist is frequently called to evaluate and treat biliary diseases in children; a tailored approach specific this population required. Imaging with an emphasis on minimizing ionizing radiation used not only the initial workup but also guide interventions. The most common form of intervention generally consists transhepatic drainage either obstruction or bile leakage, scenario encountered after pediatric liver transplantation. Other pathologies referred for evaluation management include atresia and, rarely, symptomatic choledochal cysts. Biliary complications caused by underlying malignancy are problem population. evaluation, role preprocedural imaging, technique discussed regarding these children.
