摘要: Aims: To investigate the antifungal activity of conventional chitosan and chitosan-loaded nanoemulsions against anthracnose caused by Colletotrichum spp. isolated from different tropical fruits. Methods Results: In vitro results illustrated that onwards 15% concentration inhibited radial mycelial growth, conidial germination, sporulation dry weight mycelia for musae (Berk. & Curt) Arx. banana, gloeosporioides (Penz.) Penz Sacc. papaya dragon For further investigations, were prepared, at 20% with 200 nm droplet size gave best in terms all parameters tested C. same 600 both isolates gloeosporioides. However, obtained sizes nonsignificantly 10 concentrations. Therefore, vivo studies, only 10% was used. fungicidal effects maintaining postharvest quality fruits, a banana fruits showed delaying onset up to 28 days cold storage. Conclusion: Chitosan used form good but not as effective nanoemulsions. Significance Impact Study: The this study suggest instead applying form, could be more biofungicide controlling fresh Moreover, it cost-effective amount chemical is reduced when applied
